Panda Express, Barrel Room, and Royal Thai all open in the same week!

It's always a challenge to eat healthy in the south where fried chicken, BBQ, and Mexican food dominate our Enterprise restaurant choices.  Although I appreciate all of this food, I can often feel heavy (figuratively and literally) and unhealthy after a meal.

Our food adventure began, thanks to my membership in the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce where I was invited to the soft opening of Panda Express. Talk about an impressive restaurant!  The whole city has watched as this modern structure rose in the new heart of the city--the Publix shopping center.  When Publix went in, lots of exciting businesses followed.  The corner of Hwy 27 and Boll Weevil Circle is bustling with the addition of Panda Express and the "bright and fresh" exterior of the building.  Sometimes it takes successful businesses a while to discover our amazing Enterprise market.  So glad Panda Express decided to open a free standing restaurant here after having "1600 stores in 47 states and abroad".  We enjoyed the Orange Chicken, King Pao Chicken, ginger and mojito teas.  I adore the cool tea bar that is separate from the food line!  We just loved the taste and upbeat vibe of this amazing business!  https://www.pandaexpress.com/

James' Birthday Weekend Kick Off

Next we headed to The Barrel room, which is located off of Highway 27 towards Ozark in a strip mall right in front of the Cotton Creek neighborhood.  We had a Chamber Ribbon Cutting which was the perfect way to meet up on Friday at 5pm; just what we needed!  With a full bar, vast draft beer selections, and the most unique interior; there was a real buzz!  https://www.facebook.com/Thebarrelroomenterprise/likes
James is the one with his phone up--I am a few people away from him!

Today we ate lunch at Royal Thai which is off Glover Avenue and attached to the Econo Lodge. I had been in the the building before when it was a dance club/pool table hang out and it looks 100% different.  Very nice colors using dark brown, bamboo tones, and punches of orange.

We ordered Cashew Chicken, Yellow Curry, and Musaman Curry

I love these elegant tea pots and the rice is served in the shape of a heart ---we started eating before I thought to take a picture! The tofu was the best tofu I have ever tasted and even though we got a #1 spice and then a #2 spice, it wasn't that spicy at all.
The lunch special is $7.59 and includes a crunchy spring roll, a soup of the day (light and fresh), and an entree!  Our waitress was Ashley who was enthusiastic and friendly!  They change all table settings for the evening dinner service.  I cannot wait to come back! http://www.royalthaienterprise.com/
